Warranty and returns policy on new and used parts
WARRANTY Policy
PARTS and TRANSMISSIONS All parts are warranted for 90 days against manufacturing defects. Wear and tear of components used for racing, competition, and/or any use other than normal use is not covered by the warranty policy. Nick Transmission does not refund parts damaged due to improper installation. We will not exchange, refund, or repair any part that we believe has been used or installed contrary to the manufacturer's instructions and/or has been subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping/transport by the purchaser. TRANSMISSIONS: The transmission is warranted for 1 year with unlimited mileage, and 50,000 km for commercial vehicles. The warranty is effective from the date of purchase. No warranty is provided on vehicles with high-performance modifications, oversized tires, or programming that is not compatible with the type of transmission purchased. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel. For the warranty to be valid, garages/customers must: - Confirm that the programming is correct or replace it if necessary (at the customer's expense) - Replace the cooler or clean it while hot - Install a thermal bypass on models equipped with one - Perform a relearn - Send a datalog (preferably ezlink) to transmission.nick@outlook.fr with the following information: Line A Line D Line Duty Converter Slip Gear Status Record a datalog with the requested information and drive the truck through all gears to accurately demonstrate the functions. - Adjust the actuator cable (TV cable 94-04, TTVA relearn 05-07) - Follow the manufacturer's procedure for oil filling. No broken shafts or clutches burned due to misuse will be covered under warranty. Transmission Nick Inc. reserves the right to inspect the truck and the internal components of the transmission before providing a warranty. No warranty will be accepted if the installation conditions are not met. It is your responsibility, as a professional mechanic and as the customer, to verify that the truck is compatible with the chosen transmission, that the tire size is correct, and that the programming is appropriate. Nick Transmission Inc. reserves the right to inspect the truck or the internal components of the defective transmission before accepting a warranty claim. Transmission replacement requires prior authorization from Nick Transmission Inc. If the customer wishes to retain these non-standard modifications, they must sign the invoice and indicate that they are rejecting the warranty due to non-compliance. Example of a non-guaranteed situation: - Breakdown during a race/tire, any off-road competition - Broken shaft - Flipped sprag, 1st-2nd flair, 1st gear ratio code P0731 - Low oil level due to a leak or poor maintenance - Towing without removing the axles (pump and bushing failure) - Operating the truck above its towing capacity (as indicated on the door). Upon disassembly, if the core exhibits defects such as: broken input or output shaft, cracked casing, or a converter that refuses to remove, a $2000 core deposit will be retained.
Return policy
** To make a return, you must fill out the Form meant for that purpose**

Once the form is completed and sent, you will receive a return authorization by email as well as instructions and the warehouse delivery address.
You must absolutely wait to receive authorization to return the product before proceeding, otherwise your package will automatically be refused.

We accept returns for parts within 10 days of purchase.
We accept exchanges and/or refunds depending on the condition of the product. Please note that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and freight charges for returning parts are the buyer's responsibility.

Return procedure - PARTS
• The return must be in its original packaging, unopened and in a condition where it can be relisted. • The return must be packaged in a shipping box protecting the parts so that they are not damaged during transport. • Do not write on the product packaging itself. Write only on the outer shipping carton or on a separate carton. • Packages received without a return authorization number (RMA) clearly written on the outer packaging will be refused. • All returns must be sent to Transmission Nick within ten days of product purchase. • All returns will be examined and we reserve the right to refuse credit if the return conditions have not been met. A 20% restocking fee will be charged if the product cannot be put back on the shelves in the condition we received it. • No refunds for initial shipping costs or shipping insurance. • The customer is responsible for shipping and transportation costs to return the products. • Refund or exchange are the two options when returning an item. Product exchanges must be made for the same item; they cannot be used to replace different part numbers. • Transmission Nick does not pay return shipping for an exchanged part. • If you believe the part was damaged in shipping or is not what you ordered, contact us immediately at 819-993-6387.
Return procedure - CORES
• All returned cores must match the exact year and model of the part ordered. • The cores must come from a transmission/valve body/pump that has already been functional and not assembled from scrap parts. • Cores that have been disassembled or have major components missing and/or damaged will not receive full core credit and may even be refused. • Cores that are damaged due to contamination, improper handling and/or any condition other than normal wear and tear will not receive the full amount of credit or will be refused altogether. • Transportation costs will be deducted from the core credit to the manufacturer. • All cores must be drained of fluids to avoid external leaks and causing spills during transport. CARRIERS WILL NOT ACCEPT SOILED PACKAGES. • Any core return shipment that does not meet the policy above, is received damaged and/or is labeled as an environmental hazard (for example: fluids left in the core) will be refused or returned. credit of the core deposit will be penalized. • Core deposit fees will only be refunded if the core is returned within 30 days of product purchase.
REFUND Policy
We will not grant a refund in the following cases:
• The product has been installed and/or used. • The product was damaged following attempted installation and/or use. • The original box, instruction manual and/or some of the parts are missing. • Electronic items that have been opened are not refundable. • The product serial number does not match the one that was originally shipped to the purchaser. • The product is considered non-resalable following inspection by Transmission Nick due to the customer's processing of the product. • Special orders and/or discontinued items are considered final sales. They are therefore not returnable or refundable.
Price policy
Transmission Nick reserves the right to cancel any order due to error(s) of any type, for example error in pricing, description, image, etc. Payments made on any orders canceled due to errors on our part will be refunded. No other compensation will be given. Images and descriptions may not accurately represent the product or apply to all vehicles, and should be considered for reference only. Prices may be subject to change without notice.
